Starlight Christian Preschool is a Christian facility fully licensed by the California State Department of Social Services that is dedicated to the purpose of providing education and childcare in a nurturing, loving and encouraging Christian environment. We encourage learning and development through discovery and experience. Knowledge and creativity are fostered in an atmosphere of Christian love and concern. With a firm belief in the innate capacity for children to develop and fulfill their intellectual potential, we dedicate ourselves to instilling a wholesome, relevant, and well-rounded education to help children develop basic skills and become competent individuals. We are a Christian center that takes pride in exceeding parent and community needs for quality child care. We focus on providing an atmosphere where learning is fun and exciting while encouraging children to take advantage of new learning experiences. The preschool curriculum is designed to develop a positive self-image through a well planned and carefully balanced early childhood education program. The curriculum includes language development and ethnic studies, reading readiness, manipulative and motor skills, music, dancing, Bible stories, science, cooking, arts and crafts, social studies, field trips, drama, and group participation.

Starlight Preschool and Starlight Two Preschool are open to all children two and one-half (2 1/2) to six (6) years of age. Each child is expected to be toilet-trained, in good health, and ready for group interaction. Prior to admission, we require a personal interview with the parent(s)/guardian(s) and the child to evaluate the child's readiness for the program. A physical examination and complete immunization records are also required before the first day of attendance. Attendance shall not be restricted by reason of religious, racial, or national background.

The staff of our preschools includes a state-licensed Director and Supervisor, and experienced, credentialed teachers, aides and volunteers, all dedicated and qualified to work with preschool children.
